The wind carries many stories. Of the vast landscapes of South America. Of the pressing heat of West Africa. Of the intense smells of Cairo. Of the humanity of the Balkans. We want to tell you these stories. Whispering, speaking, shouting, dancing or in silence. In respectful connection with the music that has given us inspiration, motivation and direction for years. Klezmer!
The single strategy
In close collaboration with the renowned Munich label GLM, we will be releasing a track from our album as a single on all streaming platforms every month from July 2024. Each track on the album has its very own story and we want to tell you more about it here. You can look forward to it! Until we bring the whole picture to life in April 2025.
»Koshari« (July 2024)
With the first single “Koshari”, we take you to the north of Africa together with Simon Reithofer (gypsy guitar). Intense smells, dense traffic, sandy winds and many exciting encounters characterized our short concert tour in Cairo and Alexandria in spring 2023. Shortly afterwards, the composition for our new album was created, because these intense impressions have to be digested once and that works best with a full stomach. The name says it all: Koshari!
»Bicycle Hora« (August 2024)
On the road by bicycle! The composition “Bicycle Hora” is entirely dedicated to this wonderful mode of transportation. Imagine a balmy summer evening on which the clarinettist is cycling home from the 15th to the 10th district of Vienna after an exciting evening event. Full of euphoria, he sings a few melodies to himself and apparently he couldn't get one in particular out
of his ear ...
